Our Most Frequently Asked Questions
How long does threading last?
Most clients return every 2-3 weeks for brow threading maintenance. The duration of brow threading is totally determined by each client’s hair growth cycle and hormonal periods. We recommend returning in every two weeks for consistently fresh brows. This advice is based on the average hair growth cycle.
Is threading painful?
This really depends on your pain threshold. Some customers describe the sensation as ticklish and calming. Others claim that brow threading hurts just as much as any other hair removal method. Safa is very skilled at making the process as pain free as possible and routinely is complimented by her clients for how comfortable she made their threading session.
I have sensitive skin. Am I a candidate for threading?
Yes! In fact, clients with sensitive skin are ideal candidates for eyebrow threading as there are no other hair removal techniques that are safe for their skin besides tweezing. Threading is great for Retin-A users, diabetics and cancer patients.
How long is a microblading appointment?
Three hours on average. Much of the time is spent with Safa measuring and drawing on a symmetrical set of brows and agreeing on your perfect shape and color. The actual procedure itself takes an hour to an hour and a half. The touch-up appointment will take about two hours.
How long does microblading last?
The treatment is considered semi-permanent and will fade over time. Touch-ups are recommended every 1-2 years to maintain shape, color, and detail. How often depends on a number of factors including skin type, pigment color used, sun exposure or use of daily anti-aging products which increase your cell turnover rate.
Can I do microblading if I’m pregnant?
As a precaution to avoid any complications, we do not perform cosmetic tattooing on pregnant women.
